TSIBA Purpose-Lived Conversation with Gia Whitehead
PURPOSE-LIVED, Leigh Meinert in conversation with TSIBA Co-Founder and Chairperson Gia Whitehead.
With a deep sense of self and commitment to conscious living Leigh provides us with an alternative take-on Purpose. Born ‘backwards and wise way beyond her years’, Leigh shares reflections on HOW we show up every day - by looking out for our neighbour and attending to the injustices and sadness. As a teacher of ‘the soul of education’ Leigh encourages us to look at our pain, listen to our gut and to engage with our shadows.
Leigh is a TSIBA co-founder and held the position of TSIBA Managing Director between 2006 and 2012.
Since then Leigh has remained as a TSIBA Board member. Leigh conceptualized TSIBA’s Leadership Curricula as a fundamental component of the learning experience offered through all TSIBA programmes. Leigh holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Value and Policy Studies from Stellenbosch University and has a Masters degree in Higher Education Studies (University of Cape Town).
